The Fire Starter Kit by Zippo is a compact and reliable set for starting a fire in the wilderness without any additional aids, quickly and easily.

This is not a lighter, i.e. no flame is produced, rather it uses the classic method of making sparks with an ignition wheel with which wax-soaked cotton swabs (tinder sticks) included in the set can be ignited and with which in turn the actual bonfire can be lit.

The compartment for the tinder sticks is sealed to prevent ingress of moisture.
