The big griddle for frying, cooking or as a fire bowl. This gigantic Petromax Ø 56 cm griddle / fire bowl is made of stainless steel, which means it is more easier to maintain than cast iron and with size like this, you'll easily prepare food for 6 - 8 people at once.Frying, grilling and roasting - This thing can stand on it's three detachable legs and that means your can put it nicely on top of campfire, also, you can use it as a fire bowl if you need to make fire, but don't want to scorch the earth. Works brilliantly with gas burners as well!
Before first use, heat it up and let it come superhot and let cool. Now you are ready to start cooking. Whenever you use your griddle, you will notice that the surface will start to gather patina and turn darker, thats normal and is actually helping the surface to come naturally non-stick.
You can clean the griddle with Petromax Chain Mail Cleaner and then you can dab the surface with a little bit of olive oil to protect it while storing. The Petromax Care and Seasoning conditioner is good choice as well.
