The Fairbanks water purifier utilizes the power of UV light and kills 99.9% of all bacteria, parasites, protozoa and even viruses in a very fast treatment of drinking water. Best of all, in this model, the UV purifier is built in the water bottle, so you'll get an all-in-one solution for your water purification needs. The bottom of the bottle also houses an activated carbon filter as extra, which helps to remove any flavors from the water.

Pressing the button on the bottle will start up the UV light treatment - after 50 seconds, the water will be 99.9% free of all potential pathogens (protozoa, bacteria, viruses) as the UV treatment has killed all the living organisms which could have been hiding inside the water. After that, you can drink straight out from the same bottle.

A perfect choice for hikers, outdoors adventurers or even in city use if you are unsure about the quality of local tap weater for example. The transparent area of the bottle does not pass any UV rays, so your eyes are protected even if you look at the bottle during the UV process.
