NORTENT Vern 2 is a very light two-person tent and is well suited for longer hikes and challenging terrains where absolutely reliable shelter is needed. Aerodynamic design and versatile attachment options make this tent a stable and suitable tent for 4-season camping, which keeps its user protected even in bad weather.

Vern 2 is designed to offer a sleek and smooth tent that blends well with the surrounding nature, it is also quick and easy to set up - with a little practice, the tent can be set up in 3-4 minutes and you can quickly curl up in the shelter of the tent and a warm sleeping bag. All the tent's critical areas are reinforced with dyneema, one of the strongest fibers in the world.

The tent fabric is made of silnylon and is waterproof as such, but like almost all tents made of silnylon fabrics, the seams should be treated with a mixture of silicone and thinner, this will make the seams 100% waterproof. For practical reasons, Silnylon fabrics cannot be seam sealed during the manufacturing phase, so it is left to the end user to finish. The tent comes with silicone and brush, a 50/50 mixture is made of silicone and thinner, which is used to treat the seams of the tent from the inside.

NorTent Vern 2 is equipped with a separate inner tent that is attached under the outer tent, the inner tent comes with a waterproof base and a mosquito net, so the sleepers are completely protected from insects and possible condensation. There are a total of 4 ventilation flaps, two ventilation openings at both ends of the tent and two at the entrance of the tent. Good ventilation minimizes condensation on interior surfaces. The air conditioning hatches above the door openings also act as a extra overhang that protect against rain if you happen to leave the tent entrance open.

In the relatively spacious vestibules on both sides, you can leave dirty shoes, backpack and other accessories. There is also space enough in the vestibule to prepare food under the cover. The actual sleeping area of the tent is equipped with a separate inner tent - the inner tent is spacious enough for a two full-grown adults to comfortably lie down with their belongings: two 190 x 60 cm sleeping pads can be thrown and there is still room for equipment and clothes. On cold nights you can close the inner tent doors completely, on hot nights you leave them open - however, you are protected from insects all the time behind the mosquito nets. The inner tent has several pockets and storage solutions for small items.

The Vern 2 comes included with the optional Crossing Pole and extra Guy Line set, we will include them without extra charge.

The tent can be completely opened from one side if you want to sit in an open landscape and be closer to nature. You can also leave the tent entrance partially closed, you can still see what is happening outside, but you are well protected from rain and wind inside the tent. In really rainy weather, it is smart to close the entrance completely, even then there is an opportunity to prepare food in the spacious vestibules while protected from the weather. Vern 2 is designed to be very versatile and it gives the user several configurations in which the tent can be used.

The four-season Vern 2 is suitable for camping in winter as well as in summer - in snow and in winter it is good idea to use the included Crossing Pole -support pole as an extra, it makes the tent very wind and storm resistant. The tent can be used in regular conditions without Crossing Pole, it works perfectly without it. The additional Crossing Pole makes the tent partly free-standing and it is advisable to use it if the camping is happening in extreme weather. You can see the extra support pole being used in some of the last product images, it runs on top of the tent from head to toe. On very few last images, there is the Helleren Tarp included with the setup, please note that the Helleren Tarp is a separately bought item and is not included.
