NorTent Gamme 8 PC (Polycotton) is made of a breathable mixture of polyester and cotton, which provides very good indoor air and the tent breathes in a completely different way than accommodations made of lighter silnylon fabrics. A very spacious, 4-season shelter for extreme conditions for 8 to (6) people with stove readiness and two entrances. NorTent Gamme 8 PC is an accommodation suitable for perfect 4-season camping - it is not the lightest option, but on the other hand, the shelter is very comfortable and luxurious - large-sized dome tent, with polyester/cotton fabric which breathes really well, and hardly any moisture condenses on the inner surfaces.

The inspiration for the tent comes from the turf Hut shelter which have been used in Norway in the past centuries. Gamme-style shelter has always been used since the first people arrived in Norway and is still used by the local Sami people. Such accommodation provided security and warmth to indigenous peoples for centuries. And like other NorTent accommodations, Gamme has storm flaps under the hem that can be reinforced with snow, sand or rocks when you want a tent as close to the ground as possible. The 4-season tent provides the best protection in both summer and winter. Even if you don’t even use the tent ropes, Gamme stays upright thanks to its self-standing structure - even in the wind. But then when needed, the tent can be nailed to the ground at ten guy rope points together with the 24 x ground stakes. A truly versatile 8-person tent for all possible adventures.

In this version, NorTent uses a fabric solution that brings out the best in the combination of synthetic and cotton material. The fabric solution consists of a mixture of polyester and cotton, it is extremely durable and breathable, but still relatively light when compared to an all-cotton tent fabric. This means that you can still somehow carry this with you on trips and enjoy the good properties of a cotton fabric tent. The lower portion of the tent is surrounded by a sturdy edge made of nylon, this prevents moisture and dirt from absorbing into the polycotton fabric and is also a hard enough material that you can collect stones and snow on it, making the accommodation even sturdier when the conditions require it.

Spacious tent with an internal height of 216cm and a diameter of 432cm, but the weight is only 15.4kg. Not light, but manageable nonetheless when compared to the size of the tent and it's exceptionally strong structure. Gamme 8 is therefore intended for all possible conditions, including very bad weather conditions. Gamme 8 PC is quick to set up even if you are alone and even if the weather conditions you are merciless. In this model, the tent arches run entirely on the outer surface of the tent and they support the outer tent.

Gamme 8 PolyCotton is made for extreme use and especially good for winter hot tent camping. Fully suitable habitat for the harshest of them conditions and when used with stove, totally winter proof accommodation for great adventures for the most extreme people.

More about the new PolyCotton tent fabric: Hybrid fabric that combines synthetic polyester and natural cotton (PC Polyester, Cotton). The function of polyester is to lighten the weight of the fabric and at the same time strengthen the wear resistance of the fabric in terms of its ripstop properties. 100% cotton would not be as strong in this case. The cotton of the fabric, on the other hand, makes the tent fabric really breathable, moist indoor air passes through the fabric (does not build up on the wall and form condensation), but at the same time protects it from rain from outside. With a breathable tent fabric like in Gamme 8 PC, the risk of possible condensation inside the tent is almost zero. This means that you don’t need a separate inner tent, which is a good accessory for tents made from synthetic materials. The indoor air in a cotton fabric tent is drier and warmer than in tents with fully synthetic fabrics.

Both entrances have a separate mosquito net, so you can also ventilate through the doors without insects ending up in the accommodation. Gamme 8 PC is built solidly and designed for wood stove use: warm and comfortable accommodation is what you usually need on wilder trips. A camping trip with a wood stove is on a completely different level than traditional camping. Today's materials enable hot tent-style -camping with the lightest solutions and easy user interfaces. When it's snowing and raining outside, there's nothing nicer than snuggling up in complete shelter and cooking the evening meal directly on the stove. Nothing beats that feeling.
