Each Mountain House meal was originally a complete meal ready to be eaten, that was then freeze-dried for later use. This preparation method ensures that all the seasonings and flavours are properly distributed through the meal, and that's why Mountain House meals taste so good. Many competitors just mix together dried ingredients, which don't have enough time to mix when you're preparing your meal.

Mountain House pouch meals are great for campers, hikers, boaters, and even for outdoor jobs such as construction projects. Just add boiling water, mix, and after a couple of minutes your meal is ready. Mountain House meals will last for 5 years from the day of packaging and are therefore suitable for use as emergency survival meals.

The optimal storing temperature is +24° C, and please note, that the meals are also cold-resistent and can be stored in freezing temperatures. The meals have less salt than other similar products and therefore are healthier in everyday use. Salt can be added after preparation according to own taste.

PREPARATION

1. Open the pouch
2. Remove the oxygen absorber from the pouch
3. Carefully add boiling water according to the instructions on the pouch
4. Mix carefully and close the bag
5. Wait for 8-9 minutes
6. Mix again and add salt and seasonings according to taste
7. Serve straight from the pouch
