Product info
The Helikon-Tex Guardian Assault Backpack is based on a classic 3-day rule where a person should have at least 72 hours of equipment, food and supplies packed in a single backpack which is always available and ready. Specializing in preparedness, 3-day bags are called around the world under names like bug out bag (BOB) or bail out bag. The idea in backpack preparation is that you have to leave your current place or residence abruptly and therefore all your 72-hour needs should already be packed in your backpack. The pre-assembled "bug out bag" is easy to get up and set in motion immediately. Many also store such backpacks in their car, if this is the form of transportation in the first place. Of course, Guardian Backpack also serves as a carrier for normal use in any other application.
The Guardian Assault Backpack is a lightweight and strong, simple backpack made of Cordura® 500D material with not too much extra bells and whistles. The large main compartment can hold a hydration bladder, clothing, ammunition, magazines, food supplies, etc. The smaller front pocket is still very spacious, with space for fire tools, first aid kits, flashlights, knives, etc. Both the main pockets are quickly accessible.
A small zippered pocket on top of the backpack, which carries small essentials, car keys, sunglasses, power banks and similar. The backpack has a very minimalistic amount of MOLLE/PALS webbing, but it can be found on both lower sides of the backpack. This makes the backpack look more classic, but still retains its modularity. You can attach almost any MOLLE-compatible extra pocket to the sides of the backpack, there is a first aid kit attached in one of the pictures.
