The crossbow is cocked by folding the end of the bow downwards, doing so, the metal rods tension the spring to shooting position. The safety machanism will automatically turn on when you cock the spring. EK Archery Cobra is a high-quality, and stylish pistol crossbow, which also performs its task quite well.
