The latest iteration of the popular DD Frontline hammock is here, this time it is a Superlight version and weighs only 700g. If you take just the hammock, it weighs only 620g, but it comes with mosquito net spreaders and SuperLight suspension system which are totalling around 700g.

The Superlight Frontline Hammock is made of lightweight ripstop nylon and has only one main layer of fabric. Combined with Superlight Suspension system, which includes Superlight Karabiners, Tree Huggers and Whoopie Slings, you can create a pretty lightweight allrounder that is great people who hike alot and spend their nights in the woods.

DD Hammocks Frontline Superlight comes with an integrated mosquito net which ensures queit and calm nights without mosquitos and other insects. You will therefore be able to sleep in complete tranquility. The new, wider 60cm spreader poles for the mosquito net offer more room and make the living space more spacious. The mosquito net has separate loops if you wish to use sticks from the ground as spreader poles, this way you can leave the actual spreader poles home and lessen the carry weight.

The suspension system is familiar DD quality, including: Superlight karabiners (8g per carbine), tree-friendly tree huggers and Whoopie Slings. Very lightweight and quick to set up. Inside the hammock, there are now 4 x pockets for all your valuables. Also, the bottom side of the Superlight Frontline you can find 4 x fastening loops, so you can get Underblanket system easily attached if you are using one of those. The Underblanket / Underguilt is a separately bought accessory for hammocks, it will create an insulation between your hammock and ground, very effective when sleeping in colder temperatures.
