Smoky Stew with Potatoes and Lentils, ready to eat MRE straight from the pouch, either cold or warmed. Blå Band's MRE Ready-to-Eat meals are easy to take on camping trips, car travelling trips or cottages, as they do not require any water. The meal is immediately ready to eat straight from the pouch, but when heated, it always tastes much better. So you can also eat it cold if there is no possibility for heating.

These kind of MREs are suitable for many scenarios if you need long-lasting and delicious food that doesn't take much time to prepare. Blå Band MREs best before dates are generally 2-3 years, so you can stock up some home pantry and always have good ready-to-eat meals at hand.

These MREs have a natural taste and differ slightly from the dry expedition food by the same company. These weigh more than the dry expedition food, but preparing the meal is faster when no more than heating is needed. Food can be heated in a camping pot, but also in a hot water bath, just put the pouch into hot water and wait untill the ingredients are warm enought. Great way if you don't want any dishes and want to eat straight from the bag.
