About us

SF-Fennica Oy / Mokkimies.com is a Finnish family business, which was founded in 1993. The younger generation started running an online store in connection with the company since 2002, and Mokkimies story begins in 2012. Mokkimies is currently located in a new address in Tuusula (2023). Sulankaari 8 is our basecamp for both the online store warehouse and our small showroom shop. From our selection, you can find items suitable for backpacking and camping + other outdoor activities, for beginners as well as for industry veterans.

We pick all the products which we sell by hand and take our time to check all of them before presenting them on our store. We have been importing goods since 2002 and strive to bring products to the market that are not yet found in such a large part of the regular outdoors scene here in Finland. We also have our own in-house brand, Kootamo: Outdoors small accessories with reasonable price, without compromising on quality.

Only quality products and good service that will deliver. We help you choose the right product for your purpose and we stand behind all the products we sell. We take extra care to ensure that Mokkimies shopping experience is top-notch, and there will be no disappointments or bad feedback.

You can come and say hello to us personally in Tuusula, Finland - we have a small showroom / shop where you can familiarize yourself with the products and make purchases on site as well. Sulankaari 8, 13, Tuusula is the address. Showroom / shop open weekdays 10:00 - 16:30.

Delivery times

We are proud of our fast delivery times here at Mökkimies.com. To Finnish destinations the parcel usually arrives during the next day (excluding weekends). Within Europe we use Finnish postal service Priority shipping with a delivery time of 2-7 days depending on destination. These times apply if you have placed your order before 14.00 (GMT +2) so the parcel ships out the same day. In case the product is temporarily out of stock, you will naturally have to wait a little longer.

The online store will automatically send you a tracking number for the parcel when the product(s) are picked up for packing. During Christmas time the delivery times may be a little longer than usual. We hope you understand and forgive us. Thank you

We have no control over delivery times after the product has been shipped, and if delays are due to third party errors, strikes or natural disasters.

Promise #1 We know that delivering ordered products in an accurate and timely fashion is our most important task. If something goes wrong, as occasionally will, correcting the error in a satisfactory way to the customer is simply our only goal. Simple.

Promise #2 If the product you ordered is faulty or wrong – contact us immediately at info@mokkimies.com and we will get back to you quickly, process the order again, and give you a discount coupon for the next order. Simple.

Promise #3 If the product you ordered is otherwise unsatisfactory or fails to fulfill your expectations, please send it back within 14 days. We will replace it with another product or return your money. Simple.

Promise #4 If we fail to solve an issue via e-mail, we will give you a call when it best suits you. Simple.
